Mark Jaynes
Head Football Coach

Mark Jaynes is entering his first year at the helm of the Bulldogs. Mark is a Para-professional for the high school and is attending Ivy Tech to attain his teaching license. He is a 1982 graduate of Monrovia High School. He has 26 years of coaching experience at various levels including Monrovia youth leagues, middle school basketball and football, and high school softball, baseball and football. He was the assistant softball coach in 1994 on the Regional Runner-Up team and was a part of the football staff last year during their state runner-up season. He has announced numerous IHSAA state championships and is an announcer for the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Radio Network. Mark has been married for 23 years to his wife Desiree and they have 2 children, Lauren (21) and Even (18). They reside in Monrovia.

Craig Piatt Assistant Football Coach

Craig Piatt is entering his 2nd year assisting with the Bulldogs, helping the 2009 JV football yeam finish strong with a 7-1 record. Craig is a Student Minister at Monrovia Christian Church. He has 6 years coaching experience at both the middle school and high school. Craig and his wife Jennifer have 3 children: Aiden (5), Eliah (3), and Evelyn (3 weeks).

Eric Anderson
Assistant Football Coach

Eric Anderson comes to Monrovia after prvious stops at Bloomington, Ben Davis and South Putnam. He is currently substitue teaching in Wayne Township and Monroe-Gregg. He received his PE degree from ISU in December of 2008. He was a 3 time Dean's list while ISU. Eric is unmarried.

Rod Cooper
Assistant Football Coach

Rod Cooper joins the staff after nine years of various coaching positions at various levels. He has stints at the youth league and both the middle school and high school. Rod and his wife, Jill, have two children, Breanna (18) and Lane (15).

Steve Reeder
Strength and Conditioning Coach

Strength and conditioning coach Steve Reeder teaches AP History, Psychology, Sociology and 7th Grade World Geography for Monrovia. He has a BS in education from IU and MA in Education from the University of Indianapolis. He coached basketball and track while at Eminence and middle school football at Monrovia and was awarded the "Mr. Football award in 1992. He and his wife of 5 years, Whitney, have no children.
