Welcome to Monrovia High School!

About Us

Monrovia High School holds a First-Class Commission from the State of Indiana and is accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Secondary Schools. Monrovia is a four-year comprehensive public high school with an enrollment of 487 students. The school year consists of two 18-week semesters. The school day consists of seven periods and students are required to take seven courses. The ethnic diversity is less than one (1) percent.

The mission of Monrovia High School is to provide for each student a diverse education in a safe, supportive environment that promotes self-discipline, motivation, and excellence in learning.

We believe that learning is important and everyone can learn. Students are responsible for their actions and must be held accountable for their choices. Teachers should be life-long learners. Students will be proficient in all curricular areas as outlined in the Indiana State Standards.
