Student Council

Sponsor: Mrs. Michelle Bombei

4th and 5th grade students may become members of Student Council. Student Council members are selected by their peers to represent their school. Two students from each class are chosen. Throughout the year, members host special events with proceeds benefiting different charities, give morning announcements, display flag, and are a voice for the students. Members will have monthly meetings. These selected members must have all A’s or B’s and display excellent behavior.

Student Council Elections

Student Council elections were recently held in grades four and five. Candidates wrote anonymous essays about why they would like to be on Student Council. The students in each classroom then voted on the essays. The Student Council Representatives are:

Service Projects

On Friday, October 17 students will be asked to participate in a project called "Heavenly Hats". Heavenly Hats was started by a 10 year old boy that wanted to help medical patients around the globe that lose their hair due to a disease or treatment os a disease. Over 350,000 hats have been delivered to patients in need. Students will pay $1 to wear their favorite hat to school. The money raised will be donated to The Heavenly Hat Foundation.
