Spell Bowl

Spell Bowl is an academic competition for 4th and 5th grade students. It is sponsored statewide by the Indiana Academic Competition for Excellence. Our team will practice a list of 750 words provided for use in this year’s competition by IACE. Students will meet twice a week after school during September, October and November to prepare for the competition in November. Eight spellers will then compete for points by spelling seven words each for one round. Our total points will then be compared to similarly sized and leveled schools in our area, then posted statewide.
