Miscellaneous Information:
Hello! My name is Miss Gray and I am excited to be your teacher this year! We have a great group of kindergarten, first, and second graders this year, and I am anxious to get the year going because we have a lot of great things to accomplish! I know a little bit about you and can’t wait to learn more, but first, I’m going to tell you a little bit about me.

I was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on June 14, 1984. I moved to Monrovia when I was little because both my mom and dad’s families lived here. I attended Monrovia schools starting in Kindergarten and graduated from here in 2002. I went on to attend Ball State University and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education in the spring of 2006. In the fall of 2006, I started teaching at Monrovia as a paraprofessional in the middle school. Since then, I have taught half-day Kindergarten, full day Kindergarten, fourth grade, and am now back as a kindergarten, first, and second grade Math teacher. This is my tenth year teaching here in the district and I still have many ties to it.

My roots are deep within the district as both of my parents and other numerous family members have attended school here. My brother, Dalin, graduated from MHS in 2010, and my baby brother, Jeremy, graduated in 2013.

Those that know me will tell you that I love my students as if they were my own and I do everything I can to make learning fun! I’m also not afraid to be a little silly, as you will see on spirit days! ☺ I look forward to great things that will come this year!
