Miscellaneous Information:
I grew up in Mooresville and graduated as the valedictorian from Mooresville High School in 1998. I am very blessed to have married my high school sweetheart who graduated from Monrovia High School.

After graduating from the State University of West Georgia with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Education, I taught first grade for two years in Douglasville, Georgia. We really enjoyed living in Georgia, but my husband, Dave, and I knew that we wanted to make Monrovia our home and were very excited to be able to move back home in 2003.

In 2004, I was fortunate enough to be hired at Monrovia Elementary. I was beyond thrilled to be teaching in the same wonderful community in which I lived and hoped to raise a family. We have now been blessed with the privilege of raising two amazing children who attend Monrovia Elementary as well. I couldn’t pick a better place for them or me to be.

I absolutely love when a child has that "light bulb" moment and it is over something you have taught them. It is a truly rewarding feeling! When I am not teaching I enjoy spending quality time with my fantastic family, baking, organizing, and reading.

Wishing you a fantastic year!
