Curriculum
A program developed for students who didn’t fit the traditional mold by continuously having low/no performance or behaving inappropriately. The program was designed to:

Program Goals
The program was designed to coincide with the district’s mission to provide an appropriate education and learning environment which will effectively meet the needs of its students; help its students accomplish educational goals which are signification, durable, and transferable. The program is designed to:
- Improve scores in Math and English Language Arts
- Decrease the # of suspensions
- Decrease the # of expulsions
- Improve skills to earn a HS diploma
Entrance/Exit Criteria & Process
- Academic interventions are exhausted.
- Application is completed by parent, student, school. Committee meets to determine eligibility.
- Interview is conducted with student & parent to determine need(s) and acceptance into the program.
- Individual Service Plan is completed to determine goals.
- Student completes the program and returns to the traditional setting (9wk, semester, year).

- Serves grades 6-8
- Monroe-Gregg School calendar
- 3+ hours daily
- 1/15 teacher/student ratio
- Computer generated curriculum
- Teacher driven curriculum
Parent Involvement
- Parent consent on the application
- Parent and Student interview for acceptance into the program
- Daily or weekly updates on student progress Setting goals for student success
- Invitation to celebrate benchmarks
