Monrovia High School is accredited by the Indiana State Department of Public Instruction and earned a School Accountability Grade of (B) the past year. College Board has also recognized Monrovia High School as being an AP Honor Roll School. In addition, Monrovia High School received a Certificate of Appreciation from the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs for continued success with Foreign Exchange students. Monrovia is a four-year comprehensive public high school with an enrollment of 526 students. The school year consists of two 18-week semesters. The school day consists of seven periods and students are required to take seven courses. The ethnic diversity is less than ten (10) percent.
GUIDANCE
A comprehensive guidance program is provided by two fully-certified counselors who are involved in educational, personal and vocational counseling both in groups and on an individual basis. In addition, Monrovia High School utilizes the services of One Sensible Solution to assist and support any student who needs extra emotional assistance.
CURRICULUM
The curriculum includes over 200 different course offerings and allows students to design academic programs to meet their individual needs. Highlights of the rich course offerings at Monrovia High School include:

Area 31 Career Center: Located on the Ben Davis High School Campus with over 30 vocational offerings
EXTRACURRICULAR PROGRAM
Monrovia has an excellent extracurricular program that allows participation in 15 interschool sports plus band, choir, and academic competition events. Monrovia is a member of the Indiana Crossroads Conference along with Park Tudor, Beech Grove, Ritter, Scecina, Lutheran, Triton Central, and Speedway.
